The Morse Group provided a complete design build electrical service solution for Americold’s 143,000 sq. ft. Rochelle, IL cold storage facility.
Project Description:
Standing at 148’ tall, Americold’s Rochelle, IL facility is one of the largest automated cold chain facilities in the world. The Morse Group worked with Griffco Design to provide a develop and implement a complete design build electrical service solution. This included two 4000 Amp 480Y 277 V services for site power, LED lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, tele-data and fiber, backup generators, and generator connection cabinets. The Morse Group worked with Kuecker Pulse Integration to wire the automation equipment for the facility including Dambach Pogo Stick Cranes, Eisenmann Conveyers, and Riantics Conveyers.
