HOT SPRINGS, AR
Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort has a long history as one of the premier Thoroughbred racetracks in the country. Founded in 1904, the racing season at Oaklawn includes the Racing Festival of the South and is a precursor to the Triple Crown. In 2020, Oaklawn embarked on a $100 million expansion which included a hotel, meeting spaces, expanded racing, gaming, dining, and sports betting facilities, as well as a world-class concert venue and convention center. TMG Systems was honored to be the A/V integration firm for the expansion and continues as a trusted partner with Oaklawn providing A/V systems for numerous new projects throughout the resort.

RESORT ENCOMPASSING A/V SOLUTION
As part of the expansion, TMG Systems provided distributed audio and video systems across the entire casino. This included video walls and sound/lighting systems for live music in casino restaurants. In the hotel, guest rooms were equipped with an interactive guest services system that allows guests to check out, order room service, purchase tickets, and make reservations at resort restaurants and the hotel spa, all from their TV.

VERSATILE EVENT SPACE
Since this is a multi-use space, the A/V solution needed to be versatile enough to accommodate the needs of both corporate events and A-List concerts. TMG Systems installed a state-of-the-art A/V solution that included three 30,000 lumen projectors, a 16’ x 30’ video wall, theatrical lighting, and an EAW ADAPTive sound system.
The EAW system is comprised of 20 Anna loudspeakers and 12 Otto subwoofers. The system is unique in that it has the ability to digitally change where sound is sent from the speaker arrays based on how the room is configured for various events. Oaklawn was so thrilled during the system demonstration that they stayed for three hours requesting track after track to hear what their new sound system was capable of.
