Ocean Prime is a 14,500+ sq. ft. seafood and steakhouse restaurant located in the retail complex 63. The restaurant also features a nearly 2,500 sq. ft. rooftop terrace offering stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip. Ocean Prime is known for its memorable dining experiences and each restaurant is uniquely designed to capture the energy and elegance of the city. Morse Electric began working on the electrical, low voltage, and security portions for this project in July of 2022 and will be wrapping up in the coming days. We can’t wait to see guests enjoying all the amenities this unique location has to offer!

Brushed Wire Ceiling Art
Main Dining Area
Art and lighting come together to create the ambiance in the main dining area. Lights shine down through brushed wire art installed on the ceiling to create a subtle glow over guests. Additional lighting was incorporated into the design plan as needed to provide enough light to safely work and navigate through the area without taking away from the overall artistic effect of the glowing brush wire.

Commercial kitchens present unique electrical installation challenges particularly when working with multiple equipment manufacturers. Morse Electric worked closely with the manufacturers to ensure all the unique power requirements were met.

ROOFTOP TERRACE
Out on the rooftop terrace, Morse Electric provided the electrical installation for the lights and heaters. The sloped roof and raised floor system allow for rain water to properly drain, however they created some tight spaces for the electrical boxes that power the heaters. Some spaces were as small as 4”! The Morse Electric team worked with the GC and owner to find a solution that was both code compliant and visually appealing. Additional scope of work on the rooftop terrace included low voltage speakers and the fire alarm system.
Turn 11 of the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix
prime real estate for formula 1
The rooftop terrace at Ocean Prime offers a spectacular view for the Formula 1 Grand Prix coming to Las Vegas in November of 2023. Prior to opening, the restaurant has already been booked out for the entire race weekend. Ticket holders will enjoy all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner access to the restaurant and grandstand seating overlooking turn 11. To accommodate for the event, Morse Electric will dismantle all the electrical and low voltage on the patio to allow for the grandstands. A crane will be used to remove four decorative olive trees for the event as well. After the event, the items will be reinstalled and business will continue as usual.
MEET THE FOREMAN
Brandon Maxwell has been a valued member of The Morse Group team since 2009 and was the Foreman for Ocean Prime. Due to the complexity of this project, Brandon worked hand-in-hand with the GC and owner throughout the project to overcome challenges and delays to keep the project on track. He went the extra mile coordinating with manufacturers and reps to ensure a cohesive end product that exceeded expectations. Congratulations to Brandon and his crew for a job well done!
