Fox Metro Water Reclamation South Plant
Oswego, IL
Project Overview:
The Fox Metro Water Reclamation South Plant was built in response to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) mandate to reduce phosphorous in the Fox River. The new plant consists of a new headworks building, primary sludge station, primary clarifiers, BNR tanks, secondary control building, final clarifiers, gravity belt thickener and ferric chlorides storage.
Project Description:
Our scope of work for the Fox Metro Water Reclamation South Plant included the installation of a complete electrical package including a parallel 15kV plant electrical distribution system, major equipment electrical feeders and connections, lighting, and a branch electrical distribution system. The Morse Group also installed and wired a state-of-the-art plant SCADA and control system that included over two miles of electrical and fiber network ductbank. In partnership with River City Construction, our team was able to meet all project milestones and complete this project under budget.
