Project Overview:

Olive Garden’s $3.75 million restaurant is located on the third floor of the Showcase Mall (above Target). The restaurant features high end finishes worthy of a Las Vegas Strip marquee destination. Measuring in at 12,500 sq. ft., this Olive Garden location is approximately 4,500 sq. ft. larger than the average Olive Garden restaurant. Morse Electric is familiar with the Showcase Mall facility, having previously completed core and shell construction for Burlington Coat Factory and Target. The electrical room for Olive Garden was also completed during the core and shell construction. This allowed for Olive Garden’s electrical service to be installed much earlier than in a normal project. In order to avoid delays caused by long lead times, the owner pre-purchased electrical distribution equipment through Carolina Products. Morse Electricians installed an integrated switchboard as the main switchboard which made the installation of the distribution panels and panelboards very efficient. These factors combined were instrumental in keeping the Olive Garden project on schedule during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
