Morse Electric was contracted to install medium voltage switchgear, 120V electrical power, and low voltage systems installations at the Walmart Distribution Centers in Sterling, IL and Cheyenne, WY.
Project Description:
The Walmart Distribution Centers in Sterling, IL and Cheyenne, WY featured refrigerated storage, dry storage, climate-controlled rooms, office areas, multiple truck docks with lift controls, maintenance garage and fuel station, penthouses for HVAC, electrical controls, and site lighting.
In Sterling, our scope of work also included a redesign of the medium voltage electrical distribution system for the site power. Partnership, planning, and execution of our work were key for the design of the rack-supported, multi-level 80 foot freezer storage utilized at this facility.
