ZINKPOWER
Stoughton, WI
Project Overview:
Morse Electric completed the electrical installation for the new ZINKPOWER manufacturing facility in Stoughton, WI. Our scope of work included installation of the building systems, power, fire alarm, process power, fiber, a low-voltage CAT 6 communication system, WAP’s, CCTV security, and card access.
Project Description:
Completed during the COVID-19 pandemic, ZINKPOWER is a prime example of Morse Electric’s ingenuity. When harsh conditions and equipment delays threatened the schedule, Morse Electric kept this project on track by modifying the installation schedule and using a temporary power skid to complete the electrical installation for the maintenance building first. As work progressed, other temporary equipment was brought in as needed so the crew could proceed and complete the project on schedule. In total, Morse electricians installed over 1,800 feet of cable tray throughout the facility to support the process power, control, and signal wiring from the control room. Crews also installed over 53,000 feet of process cabling and 25,000 feet of underground conduit at the ZINKPOWER facility.
